"This Polo Mare mesmerized me, Her will to work, to fight together with her rider and she was complete fearless out on the field. When I see horses content and enjoying their work, no matter what discipline, and simply being one with their rider, this is for me a Dream team." 

This Painting that came out of Lena's fascination of Polo Ponies, their huge characters, their will to fight for the game with their riders, and started a whole series of Equine Athletes.

Lena's goal is to portray these equine athletes as the huge individual characters as they are.

ABOUT THE ARTIST 

Lena is a former equestrian that has always been practicing art her whole life, she expresses herself in many different medias and  her choice to portray horses was of course very dear to her heart.  Born in Sweden, she moved around a lot and is currently situated in  Wellington Florida where she and her husband lives with their two Rhodesian Ridgback boys.
